Leaders of the New School (LNS) gathers youth and trains them to become strong and effective leaders. The internship program focuses on the development of social justice education and applicable skills (i.e. public speaking, organization), as well as the application of these skills. Participants will be given the opportunity to organize and participate in projects that will have a great effect on our community.
The LNS program will begin Monday, June 26th and will meet every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 2:30 to 5:30 pm for that duration. The program will end on Saturday, August 5th. The program is in Los Angeles and will be at our Kingsley office (540 S Kingsley Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90020).
The LNS summer internship program will develop into a year-long internship program where participants are expected to run and participate in local campaigns or projects on their campuses or in their communities.
To be eligible for this internship, participants should be high school students (9th to 12th grade). KRC is not limited to Koreans and Korean-Americans. We welcome anyone to apply for this internship.
