We, Asian Americans and others who call Virginia home, strongly ask you to support policies that reflect a commitment to knit together all people, including undocumented communities, who call Virginia home.
Driving is a necessity in Virginia to work, learn, worship, and be a part of community. Knowing that every driver has gone through the process of obtaining a driver’s license, as well as being properly insured, will keep the roads safe for all members of the community and grow our Virginia economy
Undocumented students are asking to have the same opportunities given to their friends, neighbors, and classmates. The cost of out-of-state tuition is, on average, three times higher than that of in-state tuition. Tuition equity will strengthen our workforce and unlock a young person’s full potential.
We urge you to take the first step in protecting our Commonwealth by supporting proactive state solutions that bring us closer to ensuring every resident equal opportunity to succeed, contribute, and live with dignity.
